Silence and Peace of Mind, the key to well being, not only at Christmas

What is each one of us looking for? Our research is testimony of what we do. And what do we do? Is it the Truth we are searching or are we simply using it as an excuse so as to postpone our sincere thoughts and consequent constructive action? We rationalize and then inevitably crash into the reasoning of everyday life where a fulminating intuition enlightens and shakes us... and then Nothing makes sense anymore.

So what can we do? Where is that door we need to pass through to reach understanding? Closer than we think... They say Memory is the thing that gives us the idea of Living, because if we don't remember living we won't realize we are living now. However, if we don't actually start living, we won't be able to remember it later. What is our impediment, our excuse, our fear? Living is so beautiful. It's getting up from our comfortable spectator's chair and going down into the court and putting yourself at stake. It's exciting, yes it's also embarrassing at times, infuriating, frustrating... but your heart beats fast... and you remember you are here. Now. Time flies anyway and in a minute the moment's gone...

Let your heart do the talking, or rather don't talk at all if it's not with good purposes. These poor worn out words, used again and again to say nothing... At times Silence, sweet and restless, finds a way of illuminating and orienting us towards that long searched for Truth. By closing away our pestering thoughts we create an emptiness in which anything can happen. We find a deep sense in our life which will then need to be materialized into Actions and gestures of love.

We are not alone. Whether we want this to be the way or not- we are surrounded by people intertwined to us in one way or another... and happiness is enough for us all. Smile, enlighten whoever comes your way, listen, laugh and irradiate. State of Grace means tuning in with Nature, with the World around us, it's pure existence. It's also gratitude for being here and for the life one leads. Wanting everyone's happiness (even those who have hurt us) is the true key.

Really caring everyone is ok opens that door to a simple truth: peace of mind brings health and well being; everyone's well being means a peaceful environment for everyone. If we can simply live harmoniously, complicated things lose importance and in this Sweet emptiness, where nothing has a meaning, we can build a world full of possibilities. It isn't a dream.

I wish you all lots of Happiness.

Merry Christmas.
